These two honor documents were contained in the Bayrueth Guest Book steel box described above. The first document reads "To the First Governor of Thuringen Herr State Minister Fritz Sauckel, The City of Vacha Bestows Honorary Citizenship In Honor and Thankfulness for His Notable Merit of the State of Thuringen and the National Revoultion, which Saved the german People During Its Time of Highest Peril and Danger." It is dated May 1933. The elaborate document is encased in a carved frame measuring 12" x 17". It is in mint condition.
The second document begins "In Hard to Express Terms of Gratitude, Love and Honor The City of Schleiz Acknowledges Political Province Leader and Governor of Thuringen Fritz Sauckel....". It is dated 28 September 1937. This dpocument is encased in a leather, embossed frame which measures 12" x 17". Also in mint condition.
