This one of a kind treasure first surfaced at the Max Show in 2006. The book measures 11" x 14" by 1" thick. It is leather bound with gold embossing, with the NAZI eagle and insignia on the front. The pages are of custom rag paper and is in immaculate condition.
This guest book was signed by special attendees at the Weimer Castle, Weimar, Germany. The first signature is that of Adolf Hitler, signed on 5 July1936. There are 300 additional signatures in the book, including those of Adolf Hitler (1936, 1940), Emmy Goering, Alfred Rosenberg, Sepp Dietrick, Dr Robert Ley, Albert Speer, Dr Joesph Goebbels, Heirich Himmler, Baldur Von Schirach, Wilhelm Frick, and mamy others. The last signature was in 1944. It is rare to find any book which contains so many signatures of the Third Reich.
Hitlers signatures correspond to the dates he attended the festival per his published itinerary. There is no question that this book is authentic in addition to being one of a kind. Hitler's published itinerary corresponds to the dates in the book.
The guest book is contained in a specially handcrafted steel casing weighing over 40 pounds. There are 30 brass engravings of the counties in Thuringen, Germany. This was undoubtedly handcrafted to contain the address book.
When this package was purchased, included in the case were an Honary Citizen Award to Fritz Sauckel from the city of Schleiz and an Honor Document to Fritz Sauckel from the Governor of Thuringen. These are offered for sale separately.
